We are aware of fraudulent activity involving individuals posting as KACE Company recruiters. These scams may involve fake interviews, illegitimate job offers, or requests for personal information, financial transactions, or the purchase of goods. Our internal systems have not been compromised, and this incident is the result of external malicious activity and is in no way associated with KACE.
The scammers have contacted individuals using non-company email addresses or messaging apps, provided false offer letters, or asked candidates to deposit checks and send back funds. We advise that you do not respond to these requests.
What KACE Company Will Never Do
To protect yourself, please know that we will never:
- Ask for payment, fees, or purchases at any point in the hiring process
- Send checks or request that you deposit funds and return a portion
- Offer employment without conducting a formal interview
- Use free, non-company email domains such as @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, or @outlook.com
- Communicate hiring-related information solely via messaging apps or SMS
All official communication from our team will come from an email address ending in @kacecompany.com. Any job offers or communication outside of these channels is not legitimate.
How to Protect Yourself
- Do not respond to suspicious messages. If something feels off or the communication does not follow our official channels, do not engage.
- Verify the source. Ensure that any job opportunity is posted on our official careers page. Confirm the sender’s email domain.
- Do not send money or personal items. We never ask candidates to pay for equipment, background checks, training, or any other expenses.
- Protect your personal data. Do not share sensitive personal information (e.g., Social Security number, bank details) before verifying a legitimate job offer.
- Report suspicious activity. If you suspect a scam involving our name or brand, please forward the message to: communications@kacecompany.com and do not respond to the sender.
